Today we return to the magical Wayback Machine at Archive.org to retrieve another lost nugget. This 1997 article by John Rizzo regarding the PowerBook 3400c is subtitled, "The world's fastest notebook is a PowerBook", and is originally from Creative Mac.
It begins:
"Everyone from billionaire Larry Ellison to the pretzel vendor in Union Square seems to have an opinion on how Apple should boost its fortunes. My two cents: Go back to basics.
Build a hot machine that everyone wants. Someone at Apple apparently agrees, because there is now such a machine--the PowerBook 3400c."
